Salary range: $25.00 per hour

We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Assistant Property Manager to join our team. The ideal candidate will have at least 2 years of experience in the multifamily housing industry, with a strong background in leasing, marketing, collections, and resident relations. This position plays a vital role in supporting the Property Manager with day-to-day operations, driving occupancy, and ensuring resident satisfaction. Cross-training is encouraged to promote a collaborative and well-rounded team environment.
Responsibilities:
Leasing & Occupancy
- Actively lease apartments to prospective residents and meet or exceed occupancy goals.
- Conduct property tours, follow up with leads, and close leases — leasing is a core responsibility.
- Ensure all lease files are complete, accurate, and compliant with company policies and procedures.
Marketing & Outreach
- Collaborate with the Property Manager to develop and execute marketing strategies.
- Maintain and update property listings on Internet Listing Services (ILS).
- Conduct outreach marketing, including business-to-business flyering and community engagement.
- Assist with planning and executing resident events and local networking efforts.
Social Media Management
- Create and manage engaging content for the property’s social media platforms (e.g., Instagram, Facebook).
- Promote leasing specials, resident events, and community updates to drive online traffic and lead generation.
Resident Relations
- Respond promptly and professionally to resident inquiries and concerns.
- Assist with retention strategies and help resolve resident complaints.
- Support communication for resident events, notices, and community updates.
Operational Support
- Assist with rent collection, lease renewals, inspections, and vendor scheduling.
- Help ensure the property's appearance and curb appeal meet company standards.
- Enforce community policies and maintain compliance with local, state, and federal regulations.
- Willing to be cross-trained and support various operational tasks as needed.
Requirements:
- Minimum 2 years of experience in multifamily property management.
- Strong leasing and closing skills with a proven ability to meet leasing goals.
- Proficiency with Real Page software is preferred (training available if unfamiliar).
- Experience with digital marketing and social media management.
- Excellent communication, customer service, and organizational skills.
- Self-motivated, detail-oriented, and capable of managing multiple priorities.
- Availability to work Saturdays as part of the regular schedule.
Languages: English oral and written, is required for this position
