Assistant Property Manager

Overview

Our client is currently seeking a detail-oriented and resident-focused Assistant Property Manager for their 182-unit B/C class apartment community located in Denton, TX. This full-time role supports the Property Manager in day-to-day operations, resident relations, leasing activities, and administrative responsibilities. It’s a strong opportunity for someone with Yardi Voyager experience who’s looking to grow within the multifamily housing industry.

What You'll Do

  • Assist in overseeing daily property operations, including leasing, rent collection, and resident communications
  • Support leasing efforts through tours, application processing, and occupancy tracking
  • Manage rent payments, monitor delinquencies, and follow up as needed
  • Respond to resident inquiries and resolve issues in a timely and professional manner
  • Help prepare financial documentation and maintain accurate records
  • Utilize Yardi Voyager for data entry, reporting, and operational tracking
  • Coordinate with maintenance staff on service requests and unit turnovers
  • Partner with on-site team members to ensure property upkeep and community standards
