Job summary

CBRE Group, Inc. is seeking a coordinator to support a property management team across a single property or portfolio. You will assist with operations, marketing and financial activities while coordinating tenant needs and service requests.

The role emphasizes using established procedures to resolve standard issues, preparing reports, and supporting the budget process. A degree is preferred, with up to three years of relevant experience, and US work authorization is required.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's Degree preferred with up to 3 years of relevant experience.
  • Ability to use existing procedures to solve standard problems.
  • Experience with analyzing information and standard practices to make judgments.
  • In-depth knowledge of Microsoft Office products (Word, Excel, Outlook, etc.).
  • Organizational skills with a strong inquisitive mindset.
  • Applicants must be currently authorized to work in the United States without visa sponsorship now or in the future.

Responsibilities

  • Respond to tenant needs and ensure services are provided per policies, procedures, regulations and contracts.
  • Assist in periodic property inspections and recommend maintenance actions.
  • Review and approve vendor invoices and manage Purchase Orders.
  • Assist in preparing accurate tenant billings.
  • Coordinate tenant move-ins/outs and walk-throughs with tenants and improvements team.
  • Assist in preparing and delivering timely reports and budget data entry.

About The Role:

Support the Property Manager or higher staff in managing all aspects of a single property or portfolio of commercial, industrial or retail properties including marketing, operations and financial activities.

What You'll Do:
  • Respond to tenant needs, ensuring that administrative and building technical staff resolve problems promptly. Ensure that services are provided in compliance with policies, procedures, regulations and contractual obligations and standards.
  • Assist in performing periodic regular property inspections. Recommend alterations, maintenance and reconditioning as necessary.
  • Review and recommend approvals for accurate payment of vendor invoices on behalf of the property owner. Responsible for assignment of Purchase Orders.
  • Assist with the preparation of accurate tenant billings.
  • Assist in coordinating tenant move-ins and move-outs, and "walk-through" spaces with tenants and tenant improvement department.
  • Assist in preparing and delivering timely, accurate and complete reports.
  • May assist in producing research data on budget line items or entering budget data provided by manager into budget reports.
  • No formal supervisory responsibilities in this position. Provide informal assistance such as operational guidance, and/or training to coworkers. May coordinate and assign tasks to co-workers within a work unit and/or project.
What You’ll Need:
  • Bachelor's Degree preferred with up to 3 years of relevant experience. In lieu of a degree, a combination of experience and education will be considered.
  • Ability to use existing procedures to solve standard problems.
  • Experience with analyzing information and standard practices to make judgments.
  • In-depth knowledge of Microsoft Office products. Examples include Word, Excel, Outlook, etc.
