Job description

Assistant Property Manager: South Pointe Apartments

Position: Full-time, 40 hours per week.

Hourly Rate: Starting at $18 per hour

South Pointe is a 142-unit apartment property located in [location]. Living on-site is not required, but on-site residents receive a higher rent discount!

As an Assistant Property Manager, you will assist the Site Manager in operating the rental office and help achieve and maintain optimal occupancy of rental units.

DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Learn and maintain detailed knowledge of local, state, and federal laws governing tenant/landlord relations, Fair Housing Law, and marketing.
  • Market and lease apartment units to meet occupancy goals.
  • Greet prospects and residents courteously and professionally.
  • Maintain professional communication with residents, guests, applicants, and business partners.
  • Process rental applications and utilize screening procedures.
  • Maintain complete, professional resident files.
  • Keep daily and weekly reports up to date.
  • Understand water and gas shut-offs, fixtures, and sewer clean-outs.
