Job summary

Crowder Construction Co. is seeking an Assistant Project Manager for our Civil & Environmental Division. You will provide management support across multiple projects, ensuring schedules, budgets, and change orders are properly executed.

Ideal candidates have a 4-year engineering degree, 5+ years in construction management, and experience with Primavera P6. A valid driver’s license is required, and the role requires on-site work in the Southeast region.

Qualifications

• 4 year engineering degree or equivalent required.
• Must have experience using Primavera P6 or similar software.
• 5 years of extensive experience/knowledge of construction, design, finance and management required.
• Ability to construct a $5 million contract.
• Must have a valid, non-restrictive driver's license.

Responsibilities

• Create, update, and manage the project schedule.
• Develop the project budget upon award.
• Assist Project Manager with the billing of materials.
• Assist with the preparation and submittal of all documentation and records required for change orders.
• Assist with the analysis of cost for extra work.
• Assist in the overall coordination of the project including subcontractors.
• Assist with all other daily Project Management duties as necessary.
• Review weekly Labor reports and advise on crew sizes and rates.
• Prepare and maintain accurate forecasting at all times.
• Maintain positive relationships with owners and engineers.
