Job summary

IES Commercial, Inc. – DBA IES Electrical, Lithia Springs, GA, seeks an Electrical Construction Project Manager-Data Center to lead electrical construction efforts on data center projects from the Lithia Springs site. Requires coordination with Sr.

Project Manager and adherence to NEC and safety standards. Candidate should have 5+ years of experience managing $10M+ electrical builds, a relevant degree, and preferred licensure. Travel and pre-employment checks may be required.

Qualifications

• 5+ years electrical construction project management across $10M+ projects.
• Bachelor's degree in engineering/construction management preferred.
• License: valid Electrical Journeyman or Master preferred.
• Strong computer, communications and interpersonal skills.
• Proficient in industry software: Accubid, Blue Beam, Procore, CX Alloy, BIM360, MS Project, P6.
• Knowledge of electrical construction vendors and project costs.
• Willingness to travel.

Responsibilities

• Assist Sr. Project Manager in all phases of construction for electrical projects.
• Ensure work complies with NEC, safety policies and OSHA requirements.
• Help establish project objectives, policies, and performance standards.
• Represent company in project meetings and support negotiations.
• Manage contracts' financial aspects to protect company interests.
• Perform takeoffs and pricing for change orders and related work.
• Work onsite at project locations.

IES Commercial, Inc. – DBA IES Electrical, seekingElectrical Construction Project Manager-Data Center, Lithia Springs, Georgia.

This position is not eligible for visa sponsorship or work authorization support. Candidates must be authorized to work in the United States on a full-time basis without current or future need for employer sponsorship.

Job Summary

• Works with the Sr. Project Manager to provide overall management in all phases of construction for one or more commercial electrical projects and develops new business opportunities relative to a particular Client, group of Clients or geographical area.


• Manages projects in a manner that exceeds our customers' expectations and ensures that our work adheres to NEC, company safety policies and OSHA mandated requirements.


• Works with the Sr. Project Manager to establish project objectives, policies, procedures and performance standards within boundaries of corporate policy.


• Represents company in project meetings and assists in labor negotiations, strategy meetings.


• Manages financial aspects of contracts to protect company’s interest and simultaneously maintains good relationship with clients.


• Ability to perform takeoffs and pricing for change orders and project related work.


• Work is performed from the Project Site.

Qualifications

• 5 or more years’ electrical construction project management experience in all phases of electrical projects $10M+ including mission critical, ground-up construction, and remodeling.


• Bachelor's Degree engineering or construction management preferred.


• Valid Electrical License on Journeyman or Master level strongly preferred.


• Proficientcomputer, communications (oral and written), and interpersonal skills.


• Proficient in Accubid, Blue Beam, Procore, CX Alloy, BIM360, MS Project, P6 and other industry standards.


• Business knowledge of vendors in respective electrical construction industry.


• Ability to travel.


• Successfully pass pre-employment (post offer) background check and MVR check.
