Job summary

Aldridge Electric is seeking an Assistant Project Manager for the Utility team in the Washington, DC area. You will support the project team to deliver safe, on-time, and within-budget outcomes.

Responsibilities include pre-job planning, cost tracking, document control, procurement, and subcontractor coordination while upholding contract compliance. Travel is required as needed.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent in construction management, engineering, or related field.
• Internships or relevant work experience in construction settings.
• Strong work ethic and communication skills.

Aldridge is seeking an Assistant Project Manager to join our dynamic and energetic Utility team in the Washington D.C. area. This role will work collaboratively with the project team to ensure that a quality project is produced safely, on time, and within budget.

• Promote safe job sites
• Pre-job planning
• Cost and labor tracking
• Document control (material submittals, RFIs, change orders, etc.)
• Procuring material and tools
• Coordination of subcontractors
• Contract compliance

Who you are:

• Bachelor’s Degree in Construction Management, Engineering, Business Management, other related major, or equivalent construction/Union trade background
• Internships or other relevant work experience
• Strong work ethic
• Problem solving and critical thinking skills
• Ability to prioritize and manage time
• Excellent communication
• Willing to travel

What we offer:

The annual base pay for this role is between $70,000 - $80,000. The actual pay is dependent upon many factors, including: location, work experience, education, training, transferable skills, business needs, and market conditions. The base pay range is subject to change and may be modified in the future. The role may also be eligible for a bonus. Aldridge provides a comprehensive benefits package that includes the following:
