Summary

The Assistant Project Manager provides technical support to Project Managers and manages small to mid-size projects with limited supervision. This role involves regular interaction with customers and field teams and may be temporarily based on a project site.

Responsibilities

• Manage small to mid-size projects with limited oversight
• Ensure quality control of project documentation such as submittals, RFIs, change orders, and meeting minutes
• Handle material requisitions, purchase orders, site walks, negotiations, and project close-outs
• Assist in project planning, problem resolution, and adherence to policies and standards
• Coordinate with subcontractors and monitor project progress
• Support project delivery from pre-construction to commissioning
• Assist in bidding, contract negotiations, and procurement
• Participate in networking and industry events

Qualifications

• 2-4 years in electrical project support roles such as Project Coordinator, Engineer, or Estimator
• Experience managing low-risk projects
• Knowledge of electrical terminology, drawings, and theory
• Degree in Electrical Engineering, Construction Management, or related field, or equivalent experience
• Proficiency in MS Office, Procore, and estimating software

Additional Information
