Summary/Primary Role:

This role will significantly contribute to Brightcore's geothermal construction division by providing on-site direction in ground-up commercial construction projects. We seek a results-driven, experienced professional in construction management, especially in overseeing drilling operations, managing subcontractors, and ensuring safety, budget, and timeline adherence.

Principal Duties & Responsibilities:
  • Serve as the primary on-site project manager, overseeing drilling operations and subcontractor activities.
  • Enforce and improve safety protocols, ensuring compliance with industry standards.
  • Manage project budgets, schedules, and timelines for successful completion.
  • Participate from project reimplementation through mobilization to completion.
  • Be actively involved in ground-up construction, especially during foundation phases.
  • Demonstrate proficiency in contract management and understanding of construction components.
  • Coordinate effectively with general contractors and address their requirements.
  • Collaborate with site supervisors, project managers, and construction teams to meet project goals.
  • Participate in meetings on submittals, shop drawings, and project-related issues.
  • Perform other duties and projects as assigned.
Qualifications:
  • 3-5 years of hands-on construction management experience.
  • Bachelor's degree in Construction Management or related field.
  • Reliable vehicle and valid driver's license.
  • Ability to travel as needed.
  • CPM certification preferred.
  • Experience in drilling or renewable construction strongly preferred.
  • SST card required.
  • Proven experience managing ground-up commercial projects.
  • Strong knowledge of safety, budgeting, scheduling, and contracts.
  • Experience with Procore software preferred.
  • Experience with mechanical systems and early construction management preferred.
Supervisory Responsibility:
  • This position has supervisory responsibilities.
Expected Hours of Work:

Minimum of 40 hours/week. Overtime may be required. Salary range: $90,000-$110,000 plus potential bonus.

Travel Requirements:
  • Up to 85% travel within the Northeast.
Work Environment:
  • Office, industrial, and work site settings.
Physical Demands:

This is a safety-sensitive position.

Office/Remote Work Guidelines:

Hybrid model: up to 2 days remote work per week, subject to supervisor approval.
