Job Summary
The Assistant Project Manager is responsible for identifying and managing construction projects to deliver exceptional results for our clients and to generate profits for CPPI. The Assistant Project Manager should lead by example and personify the mission, vision, and values of CPPI. They are directly responsible for subcontractor issues, oversee project engineers, and assist the Project Manager in cost, quality, schedule, and safety management. Maintaining relationships with clients, architects, consultants, and subcontractors is essential. Daily activities promote the company's vision, mission, and core values.

Minimum Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in construction management or a related field preferred.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Project) and strong data-entry skills.
  • Self-motivated, punctual, and able to manage multiple tasks while meeting deadlines.
  • Professional appearance and speech.
  • Ability to coordinate and prioritize multiple projects and deadlines.
  • Work under pressure and flexible hours as needed.

Job Responsibilities

  • Assist in project estimates, cost qualifications, and buyout.
  • Maintain project information and assist with complex tasks, reports, and documentation.
  • Manage multiple tasks, support bid processes, and maintain critical project data.
  • Manage projects from inception to completion, seeking new customers and opportunities.
  • Maintain an efficient office environment, expedite reviews, and manage communication flow.
  • Create and maintain project closeout documents, administer subcontracts, and attend meetings.
  • Understand subcontractor scopes of work, support management and field staff, and assist with scheduling and quality control.
  • Participate in training, ensure workplace safety, and perform other related functions.
  • Ensure client needs are exceeded throughout project delivery.
