Job summary

The Boldt Company – Western Operations is seeking an Assistant Project Manager in San Francisco, CA. You will work closely with field leadership, superintendents, and self-perform crews to coordinate work, remove obstacles, and ensure safe, efficient project delivery.

You will help manage schedules, subcontractors, materials, procurement, cost tracking, production planning, and project documentation while maintaining alignment with project objectives and customer expectations.

Qualifications

• Four-year engineering or construction management degree or equivalent experience.
• Two to five years of related construction experience.
• Solid understanding of construction equipment, drawings and specifications.

Responsibilities

• Oversee day-to-day operations of self perform initiatives, ensuring safe, efficient execution aligned with project objectives.
• Coordinate scheduling, subcontractor engagement, material procurement, cost tracking, and production planning.
• Document project activities and maintain accurate records for project managers.
• Facilitate communication between office and field teams, ensuring timely information flow.
• Support Lean planning initiatives and problem-solving to keep projects on schedule and within budget.
