At Boldt, Assistant Project Managers play a critical role in supporting successful project delivery by partnering with Project Managers, Superintendents, subcontractors, clients, and project teams throughout all phases of construction. This position provides the opportunity to gain hands on experience in project execution while helping coordinate the many moving parts that drive a project forward safely, efficiently, and with exceptional quality. As an Assistant Project Manager, you will support day to day project management activities including schedule coordination, subcontractor management, procurement, contract administration, cost tracking, forecasting, project documentation, and client communication. You will help facilitate collaboration between office and field teams, participate in planning and problem solving efforts, and contribute to maintaining alignment between project objectives, budget, schedule, and customer expectations. This role is ideal for someone looking to build a long term career in construction project management, develop leadership skills, and make an immediate impact on complex and rewarding projects across a variety of market sectors.

The anticipated salary range for this position is $91,000.00-$118,000.00 annually. This information reflects the anticipated base salary for this position based on current market data. Minimums and maximums may vary based on location. Actual pay will be adjusted based on an individual’s skills, experiences, education, and other job‑related factors permitted by law.

What You Bring
  • Four‑year engineering or construction management degree. An equivalent combination of education, training and/or experience may be considered in lieu of a degree.
  • Two to five years of related experience.
  • Solid understanding of construction equipment and techniques, drawings, and specifications, building materials and required standards applicable to subject area.
  • A valid driver’s license may be required. Individuals in this role may be subject to an annual Motor Vehicle Records check. The outcome of any MVR checks conducted may negatively impact the persons’ ability to participate in any vehicle program provided by the company, including but not limited to the ability to drive a personal vehicle on behalf of The Boldt Company or rent a vehicle through for business travel purposes.
Nice to Have
  • Experience on healthcare or other highly regulated projects such as OSHPD or HCAI
  • Experience supporting self perform construction operations
  • Exposure to lean construction practices such as pull planning or takt planning
  • Highly organized and effective communicator with strong presentation skills; able to multitask, build relationships, and foster collaboration and consensus
