SM Built is seeking a motivated Assistant Project Manager (or Project Manager, depending on experience) to join our Southwest Colorado team. The role focuses on planning, organizing, and overseeing custom home projects while growing toward senior management.

Training and mentorship are available to the right candidate. Responsibilities include coordinating plans, tracking schedules and budgets, and maintaining client relationships in a fast-paced, collaborative environment.

Qualifikationen

• Ability to read and interpret architectural drawings (training provided).
• Excellent communication, organization, and problem-solving skills.

• Assist with planning and managing all phases of custom home builds and renovations.
• Review and help interpret architectural drawings and project specifications.
• Track schedules, budgets, materials, and subcontractor progress to ensure smooth workflow.
• Conduct regular site visits to monitor progress, safety, and quality control.
• Support field staff and subcontractors by resolving day-to-day questions and issues.
• Communicate regularly with project managers and company leadership about project status.
• Participate in client meetings and contribute to clear, professional communication.
• Maintain positive relationships with homeowners, subcontractors, and suppliers.
• Assist with documentation, budgeting, and project tracking through Buildertrend or similar software.
• Help develop and refine internal systems for improved project efficiency.

• Proficiency with basic computer applications; experience with Buildertrend or project management software a bonus.
• Reliable transportation and valid driver’s license required.
