Peckham Industries, Inc. is seeking an Assistant Project Manager to support Project Managers in overseeing Precast projects. The role focuses on ensuring projects are completed on time, within budget, and to specifications, while coordinating internal teams and communicating with external stakeholders.

The APM will assist in reviewing contract documents, tracking progress, and supporting safety initiatives. Travel to sites within the region may be required, with occasional overnight stays.

Competenze

• 5+ years of relevant construction experience.
• Engineering or Construction Management degree preferred.
• Experience with SolidWorks preferred.
• Excellent customer skills, interpersonal and decision-making skills required.
• Organizational and documentation skills; ability to handle multiple assignments.
• Proficient verbal and written English.
• Legal right to work in the U.S.
• Reliable transportation; travel to project sites within 4 hours of plant location (Boston MA, Metro NY & NJ areas). Overnight stays may be required.

Mansioni

• Assist in overseeing and supporting Project Managers on Precast projects.
• Coordinate internal project teams and communicate with external stakeholders (Owner representatives, Architects, Engineers, General Contractor PM and Superintendent, Subcontractors).
• Assist in reviewing and preparing contract documents, scopes, specifications, and subcontractor agreements.
• Help analyze bid documents and construction drawings to ensure alignment with scope and goals.
• Support development and execution of macro and micro schedules with design, plant, and shipping teams.
• Assist with managing submittals, material deliveries, punch lists, inspections and change orders.
• Maintain updated project records and logs for accurate documentation.
