Job summary

Art Plumbing Company seeks an Assistant Project Manager to support the Project Manager in planning and coordinating the construction schedule. You will assist with organization, scheduling, budgeting, and implementation, and help resolve field problems as they arise.

The role requires 1–3 years in plumbing/mechanical, a HS diploma or GED, and preferably a BS in engineering or construction management. Proficiency with MS Office and BIM/field software is expected.

Qualifications

• 1–3 years related experience in plumbing/mechanical industry.
• High School diploma or GED required.
• Pursuing BS with engineering or construction management focus preferred.
• Knowledge of construction industry and documentation.

Responsibilities

• Assist Project Manager with planning and coordinating activities in the construction schedule.
• Support budgeting and billings processes for the project.
• Maintain project documents and ensure proper document control.
• Attend meetings to review scheduling, delivery, and work plans.
• Assist with change orders and pricing using estimates and takeoffs.
• Coordinate with foremen and field personnel to resolve issues.
