Job summary

MMG in Houston is seeking an Assistant Project Manager for its multi-family construction group. The APM will report to the Senior Project Manager and collaborate with subcontractors, estimators, and schedulers on project estimates and schedules.

Key duties include supporting contract administration, drafting client proposals, directing project teams for safe, timely completion, and performing on-site PM tasks on smaller projects. Strong Excel/Word skills and effective communication are essential.

Qualifications

• BS in a construction-related field preferred.
• Multi-Family construction experience required.
• Strong working knowledge of Excel and Word.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
• Strong prioritization and organizational skills; detail-oriented.

Responsibilities

• Partner with the Project Manager or Construction Executive in interacting with subcontractors.
• Partner with the Project Manager or Construction Executive in the drafting of client proposals.
• Partner with the Project Manager or Construction Executive on contract administration and management.
• Work with preconstruction, estimating and scheduling on project estimate and schedule.
• Provide direction to the project team to complete the projects safe and on time.
• Perform on-site Project Manager duties on small scope projects
