Position Overview
We are seeking an organized and proactive Assistant Project Manager to support our multifamily development projects. The ideal candidate will assist in the planning, execution, and completion of various projects while ensuring adherence to budget and timelines.
Key Responsibilities
- Assist in project planning and scheduling to ensure timely completion of multifamily development projects.
- Monitor and track project budgets, ensuring financial targets are met.
- Facilitate communication between project stakeholders including contractors, clients, and team members.
- Collaborate with the project manager to identify and mitigate risks throughout the project lifecycle.
- Ensure compliance with contract specifications and administer contracts effectively.
- Conduct quality control inspections to ensure standards are met and resolve any issues that arise.
- Assist in stakeholder management to maintain strong relationships and support project goals.
- Provide support in construction management and oversee daily operations on-site.
Qualifications
- Bachelors degree in Construction Management, Project Management, or a related field.
- 2+ years of experience in project management, preferably in multifamily development.
- Strong understanding of budgeting, scheduling, and contract administration.
- Proficiency in risk management and quality control processes.
- Familiarity with construction management practices and principles.
- Strong organizational skills and ability to manage multiple tasks and projects simultaneously.
