Job description

JOB SUMMARY

This position will assist with the redevelopment oversight of our Southeast senior housing portfolio. The role involves scope development, creating renovation and asset plans, and developing and underwriting budgets to maximize asset value. This is a remote role, ideally based in Tennessee.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

1. Manage and execute daily on-site activities for multiple projects, leading meetings with subcontractors, consultants, and stakeholders to discuss issues, progress, and schedules. Serve as the primary contact for all renovation activities.
2. Conduct regular property inspections to ensure safety, supervise contractor work, troubleshoot problems, and maintain physical property integrity.
3. Set expectations and collaborate with stakeholders to keep projects on schedule and within budget, ensuring safety and compliance with scope and contract documents.
4. Lead project kick-off meetings and conduct final inspections. Ensure proper documentation and project close-out procedures.
5. Prepare and update weekly/monthly project status reports, process invoices and change orders, and track construction progress.
6. Assist in developing scopes of work, timelines, and planning parameters for redevelopment projects.

Overnight travel is required for this position.

MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS

• High School Diploma required; Bachelor’s degree in Real Estate, Construction Management, or related field preferred.
• At least 5 years of project management experience in seniors housing or multi-family industries.

Must pass pre-employment drug screening.
