Michels Energy Solutions, Inc. seeks an Associate Project Manager to support planning and organization for large energy and industrial projects. You will implement project management principles and collaborate with internal stakeholders to ensure deadlines and business needs are met.

Ideal candidates have a relevant degree and foundational knowledge in PM/Construction, with willingness to travel and work on long-term onsite projects in outdoor environments.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Project Management, Construction Management, Engineering, or related field
• Foundational knowledge of project and construction management principles
• Training in safety, health, and environmental policies and procedures
• Experience with Microsoft Office Suite and Primavera (preferred)
• Support project controls: cost/labor/scheduling/budgeting/documentation/reporting and basic financial metrics
• Strong written and verbal communication with coordination across PMs, subs, and internal teams
• Ability to travel for extended durations and work on long-term onsite projects outdoors

What it takes?

• Bachelor’s degree in Project Management, Construction Management, Engineering, or related field, 0‑3 years of related experience, or equivalent combination
• Foundational knowledge of project management and construction management principles
• Training in safety, health, and environmental policies and procedures
• Experience with Microsoft Office Suite and Primavera (preferred)
• Ability to support project controls including cost tracking, labor tracking, scheduling, budgeting, documentation, reporting, and basic financial metrics analysis
• Strong written and verbal communication skills with the ability to coordinate with project managers, subcontractors, and internal teams.
• Ability to travel for extended durations, commit to long‑term onsite projects, and work in outdoor environments
