Michels Energy Solutions, Inc. seeks an Assistant Project Manager to assist planning, organization, and project controls on complex energy and infrastructure projects in North America. This role supports scheduling, cost tracking, and stakeholder coordination to meet deadlines and business needs.

Bachelor’s degree required; 0–3 years’ related experience; travel and outdoor work. Proficiency in Microsoft Office and Primavera preferred.

• Bachelor’s degree in Project Management, Construction Management, Engineering, or related field.
• 0–3 years of related experience or equivalent.
• Foundational knowledge of project management and construction management principles.
• Training in safety, health, and environmental policies and procedures.
• Experience with Microsoft Office Suite and Primavera preferred.
• Ability to support project controls including cost tracking, scheduling, budgeting, and reporting.

What it takes?

• Bachelor’s degree in Project Management, Construction Management, Engineering, or related field, 0-3 years of related experience, or equivalent combination
• Foundational knowledge of project management and construction management principles
• Training in safety, health, and environmental policies and procedures
• Experience with Microsoft Office Suite and Primavera (preferred)
• Ability to support project controls including cost tracking, labor tracking, scheduling, budgeting, documentation, reporting, and basic financial metrics analysis
• Strong written and verbal communication skills with the ability to coordinate with project managers, subcontractors, and internal teams.
• Ability to travel for extended durations, commit to long-term onsite projects, and work in outdoor environments
