Job summary

Just Construction Recruitment is seeking an Assistant Project Manager to support the delivery of high-end custom homes in Charleston and the Lowcountry.

You will assist with schedules, budgets, procurement, and documentation, coordinate subcontractors and design teams, review plans, and maintain client communication.

Ideal candidates have 2–5 years in construction or project management, experience with custom luxury residential projects, and strong organization and attention to detail.

Qualifications

• 2–5 years of construction/project management experience.
• Background in custom homes, luxury residential or high-end construction.
• Strong understanding of construction drawings and building processes.

Responsibilities

• Support Project Managers throughout the construction lifecycle.
• Assist with schedules, budgets, procurement and project documentation.
• Coordinate subcontractors, vendors, architects and design teams.
• Review plans, specifications and submittals.
• Assist with RFIs, change orders and project correspondence.
• Track project costs, materials and purchasing.
• Attend project meetings and maintain client communication.
• Work closely with Superintendents to keep projects on schedule.
• Assist with quality control, inspections, punch lists and closeout.
