Job summary

Muckleroy & Falls, Ltd. is seeking an Assistant Project Manager for our DFW-area offices to support and lead commercial construction projects from startup through closeout.

This role anchors collaboration with project managers, superintendents, owners, architects and trade partners, and emphasizes ownership of schedule, cost, and QA/QC. You will work closely with the project team to coordinate procurement, RFIs, submittals, change orders, and project documentation while growing toward a full

Qualifications

• 3–5 years of progressive commercial construction experience.
• Experience as Project Engineer, Assistant Project Manager, or similar PM role.
• Bachelor's degree in Construction Management, Construction Science, Engineering, or a related field preferred.
• Proficiency reading and interpreting drawings, specs, contracts, and schedules.
• Willingness to travel across Texas.

Responsibilities

• Lead projects from startup through closeout with owners, architects, consultants, trade partners, and the M&F project team.
• Support startup, procurement, buyout, and subcontract administration.
• Coordinate materials, equipment, subcontractors, and MEP systems.
• Partner with the Superintendent to maintain project schedules and identify constraints.
• Manage RFIs, submittals, change orders, procurement logs, project documentation, and other key project controls.
• Support project cost management, forecasting, subcontractor payments, change management, and owner billing.
• Assist with or lead OAC meetings and communicate with owners, architects, consultants, and trade partners.
• Mentor Project Engineers and Interns; develop less-experienced team members.
