Bohler's Red Bank, NJ office is seeking an Assistant Project Manager (Land Development) to advance civil engineering projects along the Jersey Shore. You will partner with project managers and multidisciplinary teams, delivering high-quality land development solutions and growing as both an engineer and a leader.

You will support project delivery, collaborate with clients and municipalities, and contribute to Bohler's reputation for technical excellence and partnership.

Qualifications

• 6+ years of site design and jurisdictional permitting experience.
• Bachelor's or Master's degree in Civil Engineering or a related field.
• Proficiency in AutoCAD Civil 3D and drainage software (StormCAD, Hydroflow, HydroCAD); Excel, Word, Outlook, and MS Project.
• Strong communication, organization, and project management skills.
• Experience working directly with clients and project teams.
• Professional Engineer (PE) license beneficial.

Responsibilities

• Support project management activities including scoping, proposals, schedules, and resource planning.
• Oversee preparation of site plan packages (grading, drainage, utilities, erosion control).
• Coordinate permitting and entitlement processes with clients and agencies.
• Prepare contracts, change orders, and client invoices while tracking finances.
• Collaborate with clients, attorneys, contractors, and subconsultants for project success.
• Review concept drawings and cost estimates aligned with client objectives.
• Participate in public hearings, community meetings, and professional organizations.
• Mentor junior staff and share technical knowledge to promote team growth.

What You’ll Bring

• Bachelor's or Master's degree in Civil Engineering or a related field
• 6+ years of experience in site design and jurisdictional permitting for residential, commercial, or industrial projects
• Proficiency in AutoCAD Civil 3D and drainage software such as StormCAD, Hydroflow, or HydroCAD; skilled in Excel, Word, Outlook, and Microsoft Project
• Strong communication, organization, and project management skills
• Experience working directly with clients and project teams
• Professional Engineer (PE) license beneficial

Pay Transparency

Actual compensation within this range will be determined based on factors such as skills, qualifications, and experience.

The base pay range for this role is $105,000 - $125,000 per year.
