Job summary

Bohler's Miami office seeks an Assistant Project Manager (Land Development) ready to advance into leadership within civil engineering. You will collaborate with Project Managers and multidisciplinary teams to deliver high-quality land development solutions, supporting delivery, and engaging with clients and municipalities.

You will grow as an engineer and leader, mentoring junior staff and contributing to Bohler's reputation for technical excellence and partnership, in a dynamic, growth-oriented

Qualifications

• Bachelor's or Master's degree in Civil Engineering or a related field.
• 6+ years of site design and jurisdictional permitting experience for residential, commercial, or industrial projects.
• Proficiency in AutoCAD and drainage software such as StormCAD, Hydroflow, or HydroCAD; skilled in Excel, Word, Outlook, and Microsoft Project.
• Strong communication, organization, and project management skills.
• Experience working directly with clients and project teams.
• Professional Engineer (PE) license beneficial.

Responsibilities

• Support project management activities, including project scoping, proposals, schedules, and resource planning.
• Oversee preparation of comprehensive site plan packages, grading, stormwater management, utility design, and erosion and sediment control.
• Coordinate permitting and entitlement approval processes with clients, municipalities, and agencies.
• Prepare contracts, change orders, and client invoices while tracking financial performance.
• Collaborate with clients, attorneys, contractors, and subconsultants to ensure project success.
• Review concept drawings and cost estimates aligned with client objectives.
• Participate in public hearings, community meetings, and professional organizations.
• Mentor junior staff and share technical knowledge to promote team growth.

What You'll Bring
