Job summary

Bohler is seeking an Assistant Project Manager (Land Development) in Frisco, TX to advance civil engineering leadership. You will collaborate with Project Managers and multidisciplinary teams to deliver high-quality land development solutions while growing as an engineer and leader.

You will mentor junior staff, coordinate with clients and municipalities, and help manage project scope, schedules, and budgets in a fast-paced, collaborative environment.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's or Master’s degree in Civil Engineering required.
• 6+ years of experience in site design and jurisdictional permitting for residential, commercial, or industrial projects.
• Proficiency in AutoCAD and drainage software (StormCAD, Hydroflow, or HydroCAD); strong MS Office skills.

Responsibilities

• Support project management activities including scoping, proposals, schedules, and resource planning.
• Oversee preparation of site plan packages, grading, stormwater, utility design and erosion control.
• Coordinate permitting and entitlement processes with clients, municipalities, and agencies.
• Prepare contracts, change orders, and client invoices while tracking financial performance.
• Collaborate with clients, attorneys, contractors, and subconsultants to ensure project success.
• Review concept drawings and cost estimates aligned with client objectives.
• Participate in public hearings, community meetings, and professional organizations.
• Mentor junior staff and share technical knowledge to promote team growth.

What You'll Bring

• Bachelor's or Master's degree in Civil Engineering or a related field.
• 6+ years of experience in site design and jurisdictional permitting for residential, commercial, or industrial projects.
• Proficiency in AutoCAD and drainage software such as StormCAD, Hydroflow, or HydroCAD; skilled in Excel, Word, Outlook, and Microsoft Project.
• Strong communication, organization, and project management skills.
• Experience working directly with clients and project teams.
• Professional Engineer (PE) license beneficial.
