We're partnered with a fast‑growing, specialized construction manager seeking two Junior/Entry‑Level Assistant Project Managers to support active life science projects in Waltham, MA and Gloucester, MA. These are hands‑on roles ideal for someone eager to learn the full project lifecycle within a lean, highly collaborative team.

Our client is a privately held construction management firm focused exclusively on life science, lab, and regulated environments across Eastern Massachusetts. They specialize in small‑to‑mid‑size projects for biotech and pharmaceutical clients who value speed, technical precision, and a relationship‑driven approach. The firm is experiencing substantial growth and is adding team members to support increasing project volume.

Description

• Assisting with day‑to‑day project execution from preconstruction through closeout
• Preparing and managing submittals, RFIs, and document control
• Supporting contract administration and cutting subcontract agreements
• Tracking schedules, budgets, and project deliverables
• Coordinating with subcontractors, vendors, and internal teams
• Taking ownership of small standalone scopes (~$100K) as readiness allows
• Supporting compliance and quality requirements in regulated environments

Profile

A successful Assistant Project Manager - Lab & Life Science should have:

• Junior‑level or entry‑level construction experience (field or office)
• Strong work ethic, coachability, and willingness to learn
• Interest in life science / lab construction (prior experience is a plus, not required)
• Familiarity or exposure to Procore highly preferred
• Ability to work 100% onsite at project locations
• Must be based near or willing to commute to Waltham or Gloucester
