Tetra Tech, Inc. is seeking an Assistant Project Manager to join our Puerto Rico team, focusing on large infrastructure design and construction projects and mitigation retrofit program oversight for the PRDE.

The role emphasizes managing project teams, ensuring schedule adherence, compliance with federal grant programs, and coordinating with grants management and A&E teams in a full-time onsite capacity in Hato Rey, San Juan, PR.

Qualifications

• Five years of project management experience.
• Experience in consultative organizations and in project management.
• Bi-lingual in Spanish and English.
• On-site work in the San Juan, Puerto Rico metropolitan area.
• Knowledge of FEMA or HUD programmatic management is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Monitor workloads, leads, and job assignments; track metrics and reporting.
• Ensure compliance with FEMA programs and related policies.
• Provide ongoing programmatic guidance to clients.
• Assess client situations and contractor reporting; interpret federal regulations.
• Coordinate with grants management and PRDE team to ensure compliance and documentation.
• Monitor program milestones and update the Project Implementation Schedule.
