Job summary

Loenbro, LLC is seeking an Assistant Project Manager to support planning, coordination, and execution of commercial and industrial construction projects in the South - Mechanical/Structural unit. You will work closely with Project Managers, Superintendents, and field leadership to help ensure projects are completed safely, on schedule, and within budget.

The role emphasizes organizational skills, attention to detail, proactive problem-solving, and effective communication across multiple teams

Qualifications

• Engineering or Construction Management degree preferred.
• Experience on large-scale commercial or industrial projects (≥ $10M).
• Minimum 2+ years in roles such as coordinator, project engineer, or assistant project engineer in mechanical or structural construction.

Responsibilities

• Assist Project Managers with execution of large-scale commercial/industrial projects.
• Support planning, scheduling, budgeting, forecasting, and reporting across the project lifecycle.
• Coordinate labor, equipment, materials, and subcontractors to maintain schedule and budget.
• Monitor schedules and help mitigate delays or risks.
• Track project costs and progress for on-budget completion.
• Prepare project documentation including RFIs, submittals, change orders, and daily reports.
• Assist procurement activities, vendor coordination, and material scheduling.
• Collaborate with field supervision to ensure compliance with specifications and contracts.
• Participate in client and stakeholder communications and meetings.
• Support closeout activities including punch lists and turnover documentation.

Education

Engineering or Construction Management Degree preferred
