Quanta Infrastructure Solutions Group, LLC is seeking an Assistant Project Manager I to support the Project Manager on energy infrastructure projects. The role coordinates engineering, estimating, project controls, procurement and construction activities during development and execution phases.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in business, Construction Science/Management, Engineering, or equivalent.
• Experience or apprenticeship in related field is acceptable.

Responsibilities

• Coordinates engineering, estimating, project controls, procurement, and construction activities during development and execution phases.
• Assists PM in developing the initial project schedule with input from engineering, estimating, project controls, procurement, and construction management.
• Participates in value engineering and constructability reviews.
• Collaborates with procurement to define subcontractor/vendor scopes and schedule exhibits for PM review.
• Supports safety by contributing to the project-specific safety plan and incident investigations.
• Assists PM with schedule, and prepares monthly project review reports for management.
• Supports monthly financial reviews and project closeouts.
• Assists with RFI submittals using QISG’s document management system.
• Provides feedback to improve quality across technical, commercial, and administrative deliverables.
• Assists in procurement of purchase orders and subcontract packages.
• Monitors progress of design, procurement, and construction.
• Facilitates project close-out and warranty administration.
• Performs post-construction cost review and documents lessons learned.
• May act as PM when qualified and required by PM/Operations Director.
• Keeps to internal standards, policies, and procedures.
