Job summary

The L.E. Myers Co. is seeking an Assistant Project Manager I to assist in overseeing electrical construction projects, driving timely delivery, and maintaining strong client relationships.

The role emphasizes proactive issue resolution, coordination with field crews, and adherence to safety policies. Minimum 1 year of estimator or project engineer experience and a bachelor's degree in construction management, civil engineering, or related field are preferred.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree required or equivalent combination of education and experience.
• Experience in electrical construction industry preferred.
• 1 year minimum experience as Estimator or Project Engineer or similar role.

Responsibilities

• Assist the Project Manager in a wide range of service management duties.
• Proactively develop effective, efficient solutions to issues that may arise.
• Study bid specifications and drawings carefully.
• Communicate continuously with clients to manage expectations.
• Deliver projects in a timely manner and maintain schedule.
• Coordinate with crews, superintendents, and other departments.
• Ensure safety procedures and policies are in place and followed.
