is seeking an Assistant Project Manager I to assist in overseeing electrical construction projects, delivering safe, on-time results, and cultivating client relationships across the enterprise in Madison and beyond. The role focuses on supporting the Project Manager with bid review, scheduling in MS Projects/Primavera, and coordinating with field crews, vendors and engineers while upholding safety and quality standards.

Qualifications

• 1 year minimum experience as Estimator or Project Engineer in the electrical construction industry.
• Bachelor's degree in Construction Management, Civil Engineering or related field; combination of education and experience considered in lieu of degree.

Responsibilities

• Assist Project Manager in a wide range of service management duties.
• Proactively develop effective, efficient solutions to issues that may arise.
• Study bid specifications and drawings carefully.
• Communicate continuously with clients.
• Deliver on projects in a timely manner.
• Prepare look-ahead documents and weekly/monthly progress reports.
• Prepare construction schedules in Microsoft Projects and/or Primavera.
