Job summary

Ceco Concrete Construction is hiring an Assistant Project Manager I to support project managers in coordinating and overseeing concrete construction projects on site in Gainesville, FL. You will assist with planning, budgeting, scheduling, and ensuring safety compliance, while maintaining project documentation and communication with contractors and suppliers.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's or Associates degree in Engineering or Construction Management or related field, plus 1–2 years supporting similar responsibilities.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills across all levels of the organization, plus with customers and vendors.
• Detail oriented with ability to analyze and organize information on plan layouts, material deliveries and jobsite productivity.
• Proficient with Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, Outlook).
• Advanced knowledge of safety and OSHA requirements and regulations.
• Ability to travel and work on projects outside the office area.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate the planning and implementation of concrete frame and formwork projects.
• Perform jobsite inspections/audits of shoring, rebar/pt installation, safety, and quality.
• Assist in managing project productivity, costs, quality and safety per company policies.
• Develop and maintain customer relationships to help procure projects and reduce risk.
• Create and coordinate material and equipment schedules for efficient use.
• Coordinate all subcontractor and vendor contracts and related processes.
• Perform special projects and other duties as assigned.
