Cumming Group is seeking an Assistant Project Manager on-site in New Haven, CT, to join our Program & Project Management team focused on higher education projects. You will support multiple projects, coordinate with consultants, and help manage budgets, schedules, and client interactions.

Qualifications

• BS in Engineering, Construction Management, Architecture, or a closely related field.
• 2+ years' of construction project management with experience on higher education projects.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office, fluent in the use of Microsoft Excel.
• Strong working knowledge of Adobe Suite.
• Understanding of construction methods, materials and sequences, and architectural/construction drawings and specifications.

Responsibilities

• Analyze data from consultants.
• Prepare client deliverables for review, researching means, methods, and best practices, and conducting site visits and inspections.
• Manage a variety of work to required quality, quantity and timeliness.
• Communicate clearly at all levels.
• Review, interpret, and understand project specifications and contract drawings.
• Assist in preparing presentations, analyses, and interviews as needed.
• Create tracking logs, research matrices, RFQ/RFPs and comparison charts for Owner consultants.
