Job summary

Jobot is seeking a Senior Project Engineer / Assistant Project Manager to support the delivery of large-scale infrastructure projects across transportation, industrial, and energy sectors.

This is an opportunity to work on complex, high-profile projects - from major highway corridors and design-build infrastructure to large-scale site development - while gaining hands‑on experience in both field operations and project management.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering or Construction Management preferred.
• 3-5+ years of experience in heavy civil construction or related infrastructure projects.
• Experience with DOT, transportation, utilities, water, mining, or site development projects.
• Strong understanding of construction processes, project controls, and field operations.

Responsibilities

• Support project execution from preconstruction through closeout on heavy civil projects.
• Prepare and manage RFIs, submittals, change orders, and project documentation.
• Track quantities, production, and costs to ensure alignment with project budgets and schedules.
• Manage and coordinate subcontractors, including scope, performance, and cost tracking.
• Participate in project meetings with owners, engineers, and internal stakeholders.
• Assist with scheduling, procurement, and project controls.
