Seeking a full-time Assistant Project Manager-Heavy Civil Construction Contractor to join our team. Pay is very competitive and will depend on your experience and discussed during the interview.

Responsibilities Include

• Perform all duties, as assigned by the management team, in an orderly and timely fashion, to support the successful completion of Municipal Construction projects in the 2-to-8-million-dollar range.
• Review and understand the project scope of work.
• Read and interpret construction drawings and specifications.
• Utilize project management software as required.
• Prepare submittals, RFI’s, change orders, drawing uploads, purchase orders, daily reports, project safety, and job costing records.
  
  

Skills / Qualifications

• Ability to read and understand blueprints and specifications.
• Ability to prepare submittals.
• Proficiency with AutoCAD is desired.
• Knowledge of scheduling software is preferred, but not required.
• Strong computer skills including proficiency in Microsoft Office
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills
• Highly organized with the ability to multitask effectively.
• Attention to detail.
• Willingness to learn and take on new tasks.
• Ability to work as a team member and under the direction of the management team.
• Must have the ability to travel to various job site locations as needed.
