Job summary

SES Electrical LLC, a subsidiary of Bristol Bay Construction Holdings LLC, is seeking an Assistant Project Manager to support project managers in coordinating cost, schedule, document control and quality. The role will learn all aspects of construction under supervision, with a focus on healthcare alterations and complex projects.

The position reports to the Knoxville, TN office, offers a strong benefits package and a salary range of $90,000 - $120,000 per year.

Qualifications

• 3-5 years’ experience in the construction industry.
• Bachelor's degree in engineering, construction, or related field.
• Experience with Defense Health Agency (DHA) preferred.
• Experience in healthcare alteration and construction projects.
• Familiarity with Infection Control Risk Assessments and related controls.
• Must pass pre-employment drug screening and background check.

Responsibilities

• Developing and updating work plans.
• Assist with project budgets, scheduling and submittal processing.
• Assist the Project Manager in all phases and aspects of the project.
• Develop thorough understanding of the project drawings and specifications.
• Review owner contract terms and conditions.
• Provide support to the field staff.
• Assist with development and maintenance of project schedule.
• Identify and assist in resolution of scope conflicts as necessary.
• Prepare materials for client, internal, and subcontractor meetings.
• Develop project plans and documentation including safety, quality control, and submittals.
