Actalent in Tupelo, MS is seeking an Assistant Project Manager / Project Coordinator to support industrial construction projects across the Mid-South. You will work with operations leadership, assist with project coordination, communicate with customers, and gain hands-on field experience while developing into a future Project Manager or Estimator.

The role requires travel within a three-hour radius of Memphis, and involves split time between job sites, customer locations, and the office.

Qualifications

• Associate's or Bachelor's degree required.
• Experience in industrial construction environments preferred.
• Military background valued for discipline and teamwork.
• Interest in building a long-term career path into Project Management and Estimating.
• Valid driver's license required.

Responsibilities

• Assist with day-to-day project coordination and execution.
• Communicate with customers and field crews about requirements, schedules, and expectations.
• Complete project documentation including reports, logs, and records.
• Assist with permitting activities and site compliance.
• Coordinate materials, equipment, and labor to support timelines and budgets.
• Split time between job sites, customer locations, and office activities.
• Travel within a three-hour radius of Memphis to visit sites and customers.
• Learn construction processes and trades hands-on.
