Job summary

Ascent Construction Group in Miami, FL seeks an Assistant Project Manager to support daily project management, document control, and field coordination. You will collaborate with the Project Manager, superintendents, subcontractors, and consultants to keep records current and drive tasks to completion.

The role emphasizes RFI/submittal processing, log maintenance, and proactive issue resolution in a fast-paced commercial construction environment. On-site work in Miami is required.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in CM/engineering/architecture or related field preferred.
• 2–5 years in commercial construction: project engineering, coordination, or similar.
• Experience with construction drawings, RFIs, submittals, and change orders.

Responsibilities

• Assist Project Manager with day-to-day project management and admin.
• Coordinate with subs, architects, engineers, and vendors.
• Prepare meeting agendas, minutes, action logs, and follow-ups.
• Maintain accurate project records in CM systems.
• Support cost tracking, change orders, and procurement tracking.
