Job summary

Hedrick Brothers Construction in West Palm Beach, FL is seeking an Assistant Project Manager to support the Project Manager across the project lifecycle, from submittals and RFIs to pay apps and closeout.

You will help develop schedules, read contracts, manage documentation in Procore, coordinate with owners and trade partners, and contribute to on-time, on-budget project delivery while growing toward a Project Manager role.

Qualifications

• Minimum 3 years of relevant experience; 5+ years preferred.
• Bachelor’s degree in construction management, engineering, or related field preferred.
• OSHA 10-Hour certification required; OSHA 30-Hour preferred.
• First Aid/CPR certification preferred.
• Valid Florida driver’s license required.

Responsibilities

• Support the Project Manager with submittals, RFIs, change documentation, pay applications, and closeout support.
• Assist in creating and updating the project schedule.
• Read, understand, and help manage owner contracts, budgets, schedules, plans, and specifications in Procore.
• Review submittals and shop drawings.
• Attend project meetings and maintain timely communication with stakeholders.
• Cost-code invoices and submit them per Accounting procedures.
