Job summary

Adolfson & Peterson Construction is seeking an experienced Assistant Project Manager in Tempe, AZ. This role partners with the Superintendent and/or Project Manager to coordinate safety, budgets, contracts, schedules, and trade coordination on projects generally under $5 million.

Safety is a core value, and you will manage submittals, RFIs, ASIs, and logs, while ensuring timely procurement and cost control.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in construction management, architecture, or engineering.
• 2+ years of related project management experience.
• Alternatively, an associate degree in construction management with 4+ years of related experience.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate safety, budgets, contracts, schedules, and trade coordination.
• Prepare and monitor the project schedules; update master construction schedule.
• Review shop drawings, RFIs, ASIs for coordination and implementation.
• Manage material procurement, fabrication status, and delivery status.
• Lead project meetings and generate minutes from start-up to close-out.
