Richard Group in Butler, PA is seeking an Assistant Project Manager to lead day-to-day project activity. You will manage budgets, timelines, and quality while coordinating with home office, owners, and subs to ensure on-time delivery.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Construction Management or Civil Engineering.
• 5-10 years' experience with a hard-bid general contracting company.
• Experience in healthcare and federal sector projects.
• Ability to pass a background investigation and a drug test.
• Experience with Davis Bacon-Prevailing wage or Union required projects.

Responsibilities

• Supervise project start up, project completion, punch list identification and entire close-out process.
• Provide leadership for costs, planning, scheduling, engineering and personnel management.
• Effectively communicate and coordinate with all project team members to maintain schedule, safety, budget and quality control.
• Plan and organize quality processes such as work planning, pre-activity meetings, material management, incident reports and corrective actions.
• Write RFIs, potential change orders, project schedules.
• Prepare 3-week look-aheads and other project documents.
• Communicate clearly to home office, Owner and Subcontractors.
• Write contracts, negotiate scope, terms and conditions, subcontractor compliance and owner compliance.
• Manage schedules, SOVs, org charts, management plans, submittal review and approval for all DIV 01 - 33.
• Oversee equipment mobilization including permits and third-party requirements.
• Lead internal and owner project meetings with agenda content and stakeholders.
• Experience building P6 schedules with cost and resource loading and related reports.
• Manage sub and self-performance production and adjust staffing to expedite schedules.
• Manage P&L, change orders, KPIs, lead/lag metrics and vendor pay apps.
• Manage T&Cs, stop work orders, VAAR, FAR, AIA clauses.
• Manage warranty, commissioning, CPARS, PPQ and client satisfaction.
