Job summary

Parkside Utility Construction, LLC in Harleysville, PA invites applications for an Assistant Project Manager who partners with internal divisions to prepare, execute, and complete projects under the Operations Management Team.

You will oversee day-to-day PM activities, read engineering drawings to create BOM, help develop schedules, coordinate with vendors, train new staff, and prepare presentations for stakeholders, while upholding regulatory standards and ethical practices.

Qualifications

• 18 years or older
• Authorization to work in the United States
• Progressive experience in Project Management
• Bachelor’s degree in business, science or related field
• Understanding of Fiber Telecommunications Construction
• Seasoned change management skills
• Expert interpersonal, communication and data management skills

Responsibilities

• Assist senior project management leadership with day-to-day supervision, oversight and execution of plans
• Track department progress and report on progress, adjust strategies as needed
• Provide feedback to cross-functional teams to ensure successful execution of PM activities
• Ensure PM activities are conducted accurately, ethically, and in compliance with laws and standards
• Read and analyze engineering drawings to create accurate bill of materials
• Train new team members on billing processes and procedures
• Assist in developing project schedules, timelines, and work breakdown structures
• Coordinate with internal teams and external vendors to ensure timely delivery of materials and resources
• Serve as central point of contact for project inquiries and dissemination of information
• Schedule and coordinate project meetings, prepare agendas, and distribute minutes
• Prepare presentations and reports for stakeholders
• Other duties as assigned
