Job summary

City Light & Power is seeking an Assistant Project Manager at Hill Air Force Base, UT to support active electrical infrastructure projects from planning through closeout. This hands-on coordination role collaborates with project managers, engineers, and field crews to keep work moving, on schedule, and within budget, with exposure to construction execution, schedules, and costs.

Candidates should have a civil engineering or construction management background and 2–4 years of related experience,

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in civil engineering, construction management, or related field.
• 2–4 years of industrial/commercial building construction experience.
• Experience with federal government contracting is a plus.
• Detail oriented with strong documentation and reporting skills.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Assist with compiling and distributing reports on project phases and financial performance.
• Support budgeting, scheduling, and construction service plans.
• Travel to project site as needed and attend project meetings.
• Monitor progress and coordinate resources with the project team.
• Ensure safety standards are upheld throughout project activities.
• Contribute to procurement, cost control, and change management processes.
