Job summary

Ross Group is seeking an Assistant Project Manager to oversee and coordinate complex federal construction activities in Tulsa, OK. The role focuses on ensuring quality, schedule adherence, and budget control while serving as a liaison among the project owner, Ross Group, and subcontractors.

Responsibilities include mobilization, permits, RFIs, submittals, and contract administration, with emphasis on coordination with specialized equipment integrators and government representatives throughout

Qualifications

• Three to five years' experience in construction management.
• Proven track record maintaining quality, schedule, safety, and cost.
• Federal or heavy industrial construction experience preferred.
• Current Construction Quality Management (CQM) certification preferred.
• Technical aptitude to understand complex mechanical, electrical, and structural systems.

Responsibilities

• Assist project management in mobilization tasks such as arranging jobsite utilities and temporary controls.
• Obtain necessary permits and ensure subcontractors have permits.
• Navigate base access, security clearance, and badging requirements for all subcontractors and team members.
• Set up and manage the project’s electronic construction and contract management system for documents, submittals, and RFIs.
• Maintain logs for submittals, RFIs, changes, and distribution of plans and addenda.
• Support field operations with QC processes and coordination with the superintendent and QC Manager.

Education

Bachelor's degree in Construction Management, Civil Engineering, or Mechanical Engineering
