Gumpher, Inc. is seeking an organized and motivated Assistant Project Manager to support our Project Managers and field teams on commercial and industrial electrical construction projects.

This role offers a pathway to manage projects independently and grow within the construction industry. You will assist with day-to-day administration, document control, RFIs, submittals, procurement, scheduling, and cost tracking, while collaborating with vendors and internal teams to keep projects on schedule

Formación

• Construction experience preferred; electrical construction experience is a plus.
• Degree in Construction Management, Engineering, Business, or a related field is a plus but not required.
• Strong organizational and communication skills.
• Detail-oriented with strong follow-through.
• Comfortable using Microsoft Excel, Outlook, and other business software.
• Ability to prioritize multiple tasks and deadlines.
• Interest in learning both the operational and financial sides of electrical construction.

Responsabilidades

• Assist Project Managers with day-to-day project administration.
• Maintain project files and documentation.
• Prepare and track RFIs, submittals, change orders, and other project documents.
• Assist with material procurement and delivery coordination.
• Track project schedules, deadlines, and outstanding items.
• Assist with project billing and change-order documentation.
• Communicate with vendors, subcontractors, general contractors, and internal departments.
• Attend project meetings and document action items as needed.
• Assist with project cost tracking and reporting.
• Support project startup and closeout activities.
• Help identify missing information and potential project issues before they impact field operations.
