Job summary

NorthStar Energy Services, a Quanta Services, Inc. company, seeks an Assistant Project Manager to support the Project Manager in planning, scheduling, and coordinating projects in West Texas.

You will track expenses, prepare reports, and ensure on-time, on-budget delivery with subcontractors and clients. The role requires a bachelor’s degree in a related field and 2–5 years of experience, with strong communication, organization, and leadership skills.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Project Management, Construction Management, Business, Engineering or related field.
• 2-5 years of direct experience.
• Ability to work independently as well as in a team.
• Strong computer skills and quick to learn new systems.
• Commitment to improving communication, organization and leadership.
• Experience with scheduling and delegating tasks on time.
• Conflict resolution and problem-solving abilities.
• Understanding of drawings and specifications.
• Familiarity with computer-based estimating and billing knowledge.

Responsibilities

• Assist in estimating project scope and costs.
• Support project planning, scheduling and coordination of subcontractors.
• Maintain project documentation and track expenses.
• Prepare reports and monitor budget.
• Communicate with clients and subcontractors.
• Attend project meetings and participate in coordination.
• Research change requests to resolve design issues.
• Suggest solutions to design document conflicts and errors.
• Monitor field work to ensure company standards and codes.
• Assist with submittals and RFI processes.
• Support billing processes and early completion tracking.
