Job summary

Structure Tone Southwest in Houston, TX, is seeking an Assistant Project Manager to support statewide construction projects and serve as SME for project technology. The role blends field coordination with admin duties to ensure project success.

You will collaborate with architects and engineers, help schedule subcontractors, review submittals, assist with budgets, and uphold QA/QC standards. A bachelor's in CM/engineering and 3 years of commercial construction experience are required; CMiC

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree required in construction-related field.
• Minimum 3 years of commercial construction experience.
• Proficiency in Word and Excel; CMiC experience preferred.
• Strong analytical, written and verbal communication, and attention to detail.
• Highly organized and detail-oriented.

Responsibilities

• Provide direct support to senior leadership, including project audits.
• Train new hires on project-related technologies and tools.
• Coordinate with architectural, engineering, and other teams.
• Assist with scheduling subcontractor manpower and material deliveries.
• Review and process submittals and RFIs.
• Participate in cost control and budget tracking.
• Manage document control processes and track changes to contract documents.
• Perform QA/QC inspections of installed materials.
• Assist in punch list development and preparation of project close-out documentation.
• Collaborate with the team on safety management initiatives.
• Maintain organized records and documentation with a strong attention to detail.
