Job summary

Hypower LLC, an electrical and utility contractor, is seeking an Assistant Project Manager to join our Service Division in Florida. The role supports project management from start-up to closeout under a Project Manager, coordinating with supervisors, trade contractors, and suppliers to meet schedules and deliveries.

You will learn to analyze blueprints, review proposals and requirements, prepare shop drawings/submittals, and coordinate material procurement while ensuring compliance with policies

Qualifications

• 3 years’ construction experience with cost management.
• Experience or education in take-offs and estimates.
• Knowledge of construction practices, labor, materials, and methods.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
• Good computer skills and ability to learn specialized software.

Responsibilities

• Assist in managing projects from start-up through closeout under a Project Manager.
• Coordinate with supervisors, trade contractors, and suppliers on schedules, progress and deliveries.
• Learn to analyze blueprints and specifications, review proposals and requirements.
• Review and prepare shop drawings/submittals and coordinate procurement.
