Job summary

Hypower is seeking an Electrical Assistant Project Manager based in Fort Lauderdale, Florida. This role involves assisting in the management of construction projects from initiation to completion under a Project Manager’s guidance.

Job description

Electrical Assistant Project Manager Pay range: $75,000 to $85,000 depending on experience.

Responsibilities

• Responsible for assisting in the management of projects from start-up to closeout under the direction of a Project Manager.
• Work with supervisors, trade contractors, and suppliers regarding assigned schedules, project progress, inventory, and material deliveries to ensure attainment of project objectives, schedule completion, and timely deliveries.
• Analyze blueprints/specifications and review proposals/project requirements.
• Review and prepare shop drawings/submittals.
• Coordinate material procurement, ensure compliance with corporate policies and federal/state laws, provide status updates, and maintain documentation records.

Qualifications

• 3 years of work experience in construction and cost management.
• Experience or education preparing take-offs and estimates.
• Knowledge of various aspects of construction (labor, materials, equipment, methods, etc.) and an understanding of industry practices, processes, and standards.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
• Good computer skills and the ability to learn customized computer software.
