Job summary

Turner & Townsend in Seattle is seeking an Assistant Project Manager to support project management services on client-facing initiatives across real estate and infrastructure. You will work closely with project teams and stakeholders to help deliver programs on time, within budget, and to the required quality standards.

Requirements include a Bachelor’s degree in construction management, architecture, engineering or related field and a minimum of three years’ experience.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in construction management, architecture, engineering or related field.
• Minimum 3 years of applicable experience.
• Proactive, organized, and thorough with a strong work ethic.
• Collaborative team member capable of delivering the project.
• Exposure to project management software systems.
• Strong proficiency with Microsoft Office, especially Excel, and Google tools.
• Strong communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Assist Project Manager to meet quality standards and deadlines.
• Manage submittals and RFIs through the construction process.
• Assist with preparing proposals for new or revised projects.
• Assist with establishing effective project governance, processes, and systems.
• Ensure information sharing and data retention.
• Build relationships with the client and team members.
• Interface with executives, project team, consultants, and vendors.
• Attend meetings, update issue/action logs, and close items.
• Develop detailed project plans and track progress.
• Contribute monthly reporting and client dashboards.
• Support procurement of suppliers/resources and cost tracking.
• Monitor project costs, liaise with finance and apply governance.
